Doctoral Scholarship - AI and Law (Fall 2024)

The doctoral scholarship issued by the LexUM Chair on Legal Information and the Cyberjustice Laboratory is intended to encourage a doctoral student to pursue a thesis on the theme of law and artificial intelligence.  The goal is to allow a young researcher to participate in the remarkable dynamic that has, for several years now, been driving the Montreal metropolis in the field of artificial intelligence research.  By joining the Université de Montréal’s Law Faculty, the young researcher will have access to the world renowned Institut de valorisation des données (IVADO), which unites HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and the Université de Montréal, as well as to the pioneering work in Deep Learning pursued by the Montreal Institute of Learning Algorithms (MILA) located at Université de Montréal...
