Description

The Innovation for Justice (i4J) Program at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law recently completed an eight-month study of an ODR platform developed by and for the State of Utah. The research team assessed the usability and accessibility of the platform, which connects small claims debt collection plaintiffs and defendants with a neutral facilitator for pretrial negotiations and settlement. In this webinar, two of the co-authors, Christopher L. Griffin, Jr., and Mackenzie S. Pish, will discuss the usability evaluation strategies applied to the Utah ODR platform. They will also review the main findings from the study that should be relevant to any jurisdiction deploying ODR technologies in an equitable, access-enhancing way.
